Jennifer Parker

Age: 34

Jennifer is the mother of the family, she's been raising her daughter Emily alone now for nearly ten years since her husband first became sick then later passed away. Jennifer was devastated by this and to make matters worse, her husband's death put a huge financial burden on the family forcing her to work two jobs just to pay the bills. Quite relaxed and playful in her youth, the years of hardship since her husband's death have made her adopt a stern, cold and distant persona in an attempt to raise her daughter properly. Emily feels like she and her mother have lost their special bond they once had, and would love to get it back.

Jennifer is extremely confident and direct, to the point of being blunt sometimes. She also tends to be the one giving orders and ends up in charge of any group she joins. She would never admit it but she's something of an adrenaline junky, getting off on breaking the rules and pushing the limits to their extremes.  also an adrenaline junky, she loves to push things to the limits which is why she still does porn. Despite the strained relationship between herself and her daughter, Jennifer does love her family and friends and is very committed to them, to the point of being willing to do almost anything tp help, especially in the case of Emily.

After her husbands death, rumors spread across town that Jennifer had turned to 'dubious' acts as a means of just paying off her husbands debt. What these 'act's entailed exactly has never been confirmed and despite the persistence of these rumors, no evidence of these 'acts' has yet been found. If these rumors are to be believed though then Jennifer is claimed to have engaged in some quite extreme things during this time, including actions that would be deemed illegal by modern standards.

Emily Parker

Age: 18

Jennifer's daughter, Emily Parker, is outwardly a bubbly, sweet girl that likes to make silly jokes and mess around. However, this is something of a facade she puts up to cope with her father's death. In reality she has taken to repressing her emotions, but rather than becoming emotional cold like her mother, she instead deflects them with jokes or silliness. To a certain degree this includes repressing her blossoming sexuality and sexual feelings, she is thus often a bit embarrassed to talk about sex. Underneath it all though, she's very similar to her mother and loves the rush of extremes, particularly pushing things to their limits.

The death of her father has made her treasure her strong bonds and relationships with friends and family, which is why she feels extremely saddened by her mothers increasing distance over the past few years. The distance between her and her mother is likely why she has developed a bit of a girl-crush on both Sarah and would like to be more like her. She has little to no knowledge about Sarah's infamous past though since her mother has insisted that Sarah keep her past behavior to herself.

Sarah Montagliani - Taylor

Age: 35

Sarah is Jennifer's best friend and has been since they were at college together. There, she had a reputation for being the party girl that everyone wanted to be around, partially because of her positive personality and playful nature, but mainly because of her extreme promiscuity. Despite having a teenage daughter herself now, she still acts very much like she did when she was younger (minus the heavy drinking and bed-hopping!) Sarah is extremely outgoing and very, very sexually liberated. In college she had a chart with the total number of dicks and pussy she had sucked and eaten during the semester. She would also scratch a notch into her bedpost for everyone she'd slept with, 2 for a straight girl, 3 someone married and 4 for a university lecturer. Her bedpost infamously broke five times during her degree, something she still likes to boasts about. She also likes to claim her greatest achievement at college, besides graduating in the top 5% of her class, was having a threeway with a married woman and a college staff member after the graduation ceremony.

Sarah loves sports, exercise and is always in the gym or on an exercise course. She works from home so when she's not training, she's often visiting Jennifer and Emily, as she gets bored easily. Emily finds it difficult to believe that her mother and Sarah are friends, given their contrasting personalities and has a bit of a girl crush on her, secretly wishing she was more like her.

Sophie Taylor

Age: 18

Sophie is Sarah's daughter and Emily's best friend, as the pair were basically raised together when they were young, causing them to form an extremely strong bond together. This is so much so that the pair act almost like close siblings and spend a great deal of time hanging out at each others homes. Unlike Emily, who is despite her father's death quite a normal teen, Sophie is extremely geeky and into all aspects of nerd culture. When she's not talking about anime, she's discussing comics and nerdy T.V. shows. She's extremely anxious too and likes to follow the rules extremely rigidly.

How exactly Sophie came from her mother is anyone's guess, even Sarah herself often jokingly states that her daughter isn't like either her or her father, which usually leads to a joke about Sophie being adopted. Sophie herself tends to believe she inherited her grandfathers personally, as he was a lecturer and has a lot more in common with her than anyone else in her family.

Sophie wants to help Emily and her mother grow closer, as she can see how the relationship between the two falling apart has adversely affected both of them.

Grandma Parker

Age: 54

Jennifer's mother and thus Emily's grandmother, Grandma Parker or simply Grandma, is the matriarch of the Parker family and rules it with a stern, iron grip. In her youth, she tried to instill her extremely conservative, Christian values into her daughter but this just caused Jennifer to rebel against her, causing her to become something of a hellion during her youth.

However, following her husbands death, Jennifer began to increasingly see her mothers methods of upbringing to be the only means to keep her daughter Emily in line, who was understandably quite a handful for a constantly exhausted, single mother, working two jobs. She adopted her mothers outwardly stern, direct nature but in doing so alienated herself from her own daughter.

Grandma Parker is herself quite happy with the change in her daughter's personality and has been pressuring Jennifer to make Emily attend churches services on Sundays. Despite her outwardly cold demeanor, Grandma Parker was famous in the town of Charity for having become pregnant outside of marriage. Many believe the social scorn she received for this is what led her to her ultra-conservative Christian ways.
